Yad Vashem Musuem

First day in Jerusalem, we decided to take it quietly as we were both really tired... took us a couple of days to recover from the farm experience.

Weather still hot in Jerusalem 35C but at least 5C cooler than the Negev.

Got the ligh train to the Yad Vashem Holocaust museum and spent most of the day walking around there, reading the displays and watching videos from Holocaust surviviors.  It was very moving and sad to see the terrible things experienced by many people.

Lots of Jewish people "Zionists" have returned to Israel since the Holocaust.  We met a couple at the markets where we had dinner and it was interesting to hear why they came to Israel and what they've been doing.

Here is a display board that was at the musuem.

Stats say there are only 3% Messianic believers (Christians) in Israel.  Hard to believe even Secular Jews say you are going to Jerusalem, the Holy City, and yet do not believe in Jesus the Messiah!
