Here we got to look after Bruce, a Blue Russian cat and Albert & Betty the lovebirds.🐈⬛🦜🦜. It certainly was interesting, Deane did an awesome job, especially looking after the birds who were allowed freerange in the kitchen 🤣🤪 and loved to sit on your head, not that they got a chance to do that with us !!!
The 2 bedroom apartment was compact & comfortable and we got to walk around the local sites and enjoy then scenery on the waterways.
Nice to see a different part of Stockholm city and meet some new people.
We were able to deliver some Swedish gospel tracts to letterboxes around the area.
Sunday we visited Calvary Stockholm church and really enjoyed the service, worship songs, the message and friendly people.
In particular we met David (from Uganda) Linda from USA but married & living in Sweden for 42 years, and Jospeh from Korea who had recently transferred to KIA Stockholm.
We certainly came away feel encouraged and refreshed from our time here.
In central Stockholm, we have done loads of walking (13kms yesterday), delivered more Swedish gospel tracts and visited some local tourist destinations which is much easier & warmer in June ☀️ than in the snow in winter! ❄️🌨
We took a ferry ride through the archipelago and saw the city & outer suburbs from a different view.
Of course no trip to Sweden without some local pastries
A visit to watch the changing of the guards at the local Palace and there was a band giving a performance at the same time
Always find it interesting when you see words translated in local language, that give you a laugh 🤣🤪😃
