Deane got busy designing his business card, and we're very thankful he has had a couple of days work most weeks this past month. Hopefully with some of the contacts we have been given by many of you, some more work will start coming in over the next few weeks. We got moved into our apartment (all 2 suitcases) and have enjoyed connecting with family, friends and supporters. We have been enjoying church at Auckland EV and its nice for a change to hear Gods word & sing in English!

PALERMO FOR THE FUTURE
Its now been nearly 6 months since we left Palermo,Sicily because of all the lockdown restrictions imposed.
After a very busy & challenging 3 months in Uganda we arrived in NZ and we always knew it was going to be difficult to settle and stay put.
We have been looking at various opportunities that have come up, and have seriously considered other options but after discussions with family, friends and supporters we are planning a return to Palermo around March 2022.
The counsel that has been reiterated to us is "why go somewhere different & start something new" why not return to Palermo to carry on what you started and continue the work there!
Recently we heard from JD in Palermo that there are some USA Missionary families relocating in Palermo this summer and the focus is a gospel collaboration, to help encourage each other and strengthen the churches there.
Bivona our friend from Gospel Hope Centre messaged the other day to say there are still African refugees/migrants coming & looking for Deane.
