FEBRUARY IN SWEDEN

Snow, snow and more snow - what an amazing sight.  The biggest 3 day snow storm in a few years and we got the privlege to be in it .... every day brought more wonders and we were again reminded of the wonderful God we serve that created the heavens and the earth!

It has been our great privilege over the past 2 years to see so many wonderful sights in the countries we have been blessed to visit!

A month in Sweden with the family was just what we needed after the whirlwind trip and all the projects in Uganda.  It was fun, relaxing and a great time to spend with the grandkids and Sam & Bella who always are so welcoming and hospitable :-)

COVID-19 NEGATIVE PCR TESTS ARE CONFIRMED
MIQ NZ - DATE SECURED

Flying from Stockholm Sweden on Sunday 28th February,
arriving Auckland NZ 2nd March 12.10pm
then straight into isolation for 14 days.

Well its been on and off again more times than we woud like to count, but as you read this update we will be on our way to the airport.

A few cancelled flights, cancellation fees, PCR test & hotel changes but we managed to pick up a MIQ allocation flying thru Dubai and not having the hassles related to flying thru another European airport, with every country having different restrictions.

Thankful for David Goulstone at Travel Managers Auckland for all his help along the way.

Also extremely thankful for donations towards MIQ, PCR testing and friends that have covered the cancelled flight prices until refunds arrive.

WHAT'S NEXT FOR US ......

After 14 days in isolation we are moving in with Bri and Ross in Auckland for as long as they can survive with us!!!

We plan to settle in Auckland and look for work, apartment and a vehicle..

We will definitely be heading to Hawkes Bay in April sometime to visit family, friends and catchup with supporting churches and anyone that wants to see us LOL!! totally dependent on NZ travel restrictions.

We are definitely keen and available for future short term mission projects and are willing to go wherever the Lord leads - we are open to discuss any opportunities you may know of. again totally dependent on travel restrictions!
Already your generous donations have made a difference ............
NAKA was able to start school in the first week of February and is enjoying the range of school uniforms!

Please pray for Naka as she is the only one at the school that doesnt speak fluent English ... we know this wont be a problem as she reads very well and is so willing to learn.
AUNT FLORENCE was able to double the numbers of chickens she could raise for the Easter market.

FLO rears chickens in a rented room next to her house and is hoping to save enough to buy her own piece of land one day.

Donations received  meant she could buy 15 extra chickens and bags of chicken feed.

Her goat sleeps in the kitchen every night and gets moved onto the grass in the day while meals are cooked!!!
PASCOE Juliet, Favour and baby Sherilyn are doing well - settling into family life.
They currently live in a room that is 3m x 3m, cook on the steps to the house and use a shared bathroom 50m from their room.
Pascoe is working at the Lungala property saving 2/3rds of his monthly salary to buy some land of his own to build a small house and pig sty.
