Palermo - March 2022
As most of you will know now, we are definitely preparing to return to Palermo Sicily in March 2022.
We have had great confirmation & encouragement from many of you, so thank you!
**Ali our Lawyer from Palermo has offered to sort the necessary paperwork for our new Visas!
**Laura our good friend & school teacher has offered to do Italian lanuage lessons with us!
**Michele Passaretti from Nuova Pentecoste has offered any assistance we need (he is the Pastor of the receiving church/organisation from 2019)
SO thankful for the Elders and Pastor Calvyn Jonker - our sending church.
We had a fantastic Mission Sunday and got to see many old friends last month when we visited.
Auckland City Life
We have settled into Auckland apartment living and both have regular work hours now.
Deane started with his handyman business and got a few jobs each week, which kept him busy and out of trouble!!! Thanks to a friend of a friend, he has secured work on a property development until the end of the year - it is up at Dairy Flat which is easy access on the motorway from our apartment - thankfully he is heading against the traffic so most of the time its a relatively quick trip!
Sherilyn continues to work remotely for a HB company and has picked up an extra 15 hours work with friends in Silverdale, so she is enjoying getting out of the apartment and heading to the office/warehouse twice a week!
We continue to enjoy having family & friends nearby and are meeting a few new people through Auckland EV church!
Fundraising Begins
We are currently at 24% of our mission budget.
