Udaipur

We started the day with breakfast at the hotel before heading out for some sightseeing.

Udaipur is known as the "Lake City", the "White City" and the "Venice of the East" a city on the water

we visted the Palace

Walked through the old city and took a boat ride on the lake, rather dirty so we were hoping for no capsizing boat 🤣

this hotel is so prestigious it has its own jetty with boat drivers and people pay $1400 a night to stay here

We ate & played cards in the evenings at rooftop restaurants with great City views

We also enjoyed an Indian folklore show.

The photos look amazing, but don't be fooled there is a lot of rubbish lying around, stagnant waterways around the City, lots of pollution which some days affects the health! 

We took a taxi one day up to the lakes, it was nice to get out of the city and see a completely different view

And always heaps of snacks to choose from!
