Tel Aviv City break

Time for our first couple of days off the farm for a break from the workaway and we headed to
Tel Aviv City.
We arrived mid morning and after walking the streets for an hour finally found our hotel.
Streets were closed most of the day with demonstrators waving flags and protesting against the government, it was peaceful we didn't see any rioting!
There is so much happening politically here in Israel with it seems so many hurting & unhappy people. Its rather intense when you talk to people about life in Israel.
We enjoyed swimming,  got a beach umbrella & lounges  for the afternoon.  Deane thought he was safe from the sun, but he came out looking like a lobster even after being under the umbrella! ⛱️ great to swim in the Med and enjoyed the waves.

Took a walk around the Carmel markets
And enjoyed a chicken schnitzel pita, the flavours of the sauces & condiments were amazing 😋

Please pray for the people who received the 550 Hebrew gospel cards we delivered while we were there.

Need Hope ? ....  QR code on reverse leads to a Hebrew website with numerous Messianic resources, thanks Gonens in NZ!!

We met Ken, a NZer who came to Israel 2 years ago with his wife for a Cancer research opportunity with a non-profit organisation.
They felt God called them to Israel and especially to a city called Rehovot, where they now live.
Please pray for them as they settle into life here, a very different culture from NZ and China.
It was so great to meet Ken and we enjoyed talking for a couple of hours.
