Visit to African church

Sunday - Up very early today and on the road by 7.30 am over to West Sicily to meet an Italian businessman & his German wife that help the refugees/migrants in Trapani.    They have orange orchards, olive groves & vineyards and produce all their own olive oil, wines & export/sell everything including the oranges to Germany & Holland.  They truck everything up there and bring back loads of clothes for the refugees from churches & organisations up in Europe.  They have a huge warehouse full of clothes all shapes sizes and seasons!

They employ some Africans in their businesses seasonally, they have helped a young African girl start up a hair dressing salon - there are just so many that still want the African hairdo, even tho they have little money, hair & clothes are still a top priority!!

A local Italian company has gifted them a group of buildings that they store all the clothes, literature, vehicles they use to transport people to & from church & bible studies and they have also set up one building for regular church meetings.

Was great to worship Italian/African style combined today because us & other visitors were attending.

Couldn't resist a cuddle with this cute little boy!!
