Tourists in Rome

After a good 12 hour sleep we woke up to a beautiful clear sunny day, ready to hit the tourists sites of Rome.

We got on a double decker bus that took us around all the sites - the Colosseum and Roman Forum,
St Peters Basiclia, Parthenon, Spanish Steps,  and St Angelo Bridge, plus much more, including the Rome traffic - crazy drivers and I must remember to look right left right and not just right, cos that's the wrong way and inevitably there is a car coming straight for me as I step off the footpath😳

At each stop we got off the bus and looked around. The little alleyways and streets are paved and there are restaurants and cafes every side of the street.

We  headed back to hotel for a rest before heading out for dinner, we walked for hours, in and out of alleys, streets crammed packed with tourists, we sat at Trevi fountain and the amount of people is amazing.

Long hot day, sorry no photos as I can't load them from the iPad - technology aye - it all worked in NZ but it's a different story on wi-fi here, will keep trying to work out google+ which seems to be the problem!
