Watering house foundation

Saturday 10th January

The floor has been filled with dirt, dug by hand and thrown through the window, it is
then soaked with water so that it compacts it down and then it is pounded.

here are the jerry cans that was used to start the job.  Simon employed 2 young guys from the village to collect water on their bikes, 5 x 20L jerry cans at one time - so both guys got 10 x jerry cans each trip - which took 1 hour each trip.

Overall 150 x 20L jerry cans were required!!!! so that was 15 trips x 15 hours = 2 days work

Deane was like NO WAY we can do this way more efficiently, so he got Alex to take a boda to Mpigi town, 10 minutes away and source a ute, the ute arrived with 3 x 200L drums and plenty of jerry cans.
2 hours later and a lot less shillings and the job was completed!!!

Monday or Tuesday the floor will be pounded by hand, then filled with stones and concrete laid
