As usual we left with plenty of time to spare, but were definitely not prepared for over 2 hours drive out to our old town of Mukono. - there must have been every container laden truck in Kampala on the road today and most of them unable to drive up a hill without stopping
I am reminded often of T I A ....... This is Africa !!!!!!!!
It was interesting driving out to Mukono though, nothing has changed in the last 8 years
we drove past the shopping mall, old supermarket, Kubili village on our way to visit
Colin and Bev Winters at Noah's Ark Childrens Ministry
It was great to spend a few hours with Colin & Bev, to see them and hear of the ministry opportunities they are both involved in, and of course Bev cooked a scrumptuous lunch, including our first lettuce salad since we left home a week ago (altho we were just saying today, feels like weve been away a month!)
Below washing day at Noahs Ark very warm today, started with no clouds and was 34.3 degrees at Colin & Bevs home
