Up and off nice and early before the sun gets too hot. Banana and organe jucie for breaky on the run.
We headed for Victoria Falls, one of the 7 wonders of the world.
We walked through and around the falls area, guided by Donald, and i must say I was quite disappointed with the lack of water. Finally to get to the Victoria Falls and its the dry season so there is hardly any water coming over, two impressive waterfalls but nothing like I had imagined.
Unfortauntely because we didnt get the multi entry visa we were unable to go into Zimbabwe to see the falls from that side, which they say is the best side.
After walking around for an hour or so we headed back out to the carpark and started the haggling with the guys at the markets, boy they just give you a headache trying to entice you into their store, you end up leaving because you just cant think straight or make any sort of a decision to buy something, most things they give you the price for you can barter for and reduce the price to a 1/3 of the original price. Not that I like doing that, the guys seemed to thrive on the bartering of course.
We headed back to town and a swim at the pool before we took off back up to the markets in town, trying to get the last of the purchases before the day was over.
Donald went off on a fishing trip at 3pm and Deane and I were picked up for a cruise on the Zambezi River.
