Well we got up and ready for church @ Mwamfuli , we met Levy at 8.58am, church starts at 9.00am but most people arrived between 9.40am and 10.15am.
3 different choirs of singers, amazing how the Africans can harmonise and sing in tune and sound fantastic with absolutely NO musical instruments. Each choir gave 2 or 3 songs and then Donald got up and did the teaching on Ephesians 4 v 1-3.
Levy came and got us at 11.35am and we headed down to the lake foreshore by the Bible School to see 5 young christians being baptised. It was an awesome experience.
We were entertained by the locals kids showing off swimming and playing out from the shore, then the Pastor prayed before the baptism for "protection for those heading into the waters "protection from the crocdiles" he meant!
After the baptism we headed back up to the classroom where the "english church service was held. Deane was asked if he could give a 10 - 15 minute devotion prior to communion. He did well, with quite short notice and then we headed to Levy and Agnes' house for cold drinks and cake with the students that had been baptised.
Home for lite lunch and a "rest" Quite overcast today but still very hot.
