Well we are so excited that we have the opportunity to return to Africa.
We are heading to Samfya Bible School with the Riverbend Bible Church mission team.
Deane and I are leaving 1 week earlier and heading to spend 4 days in Uganda with Alex, Simon, Deborah and Esther. We will be staying with our friends Warwick and Marilyn Dingle who recently left (after spending time with us in Uganda last year) and gone to serve at Noahs Ark Ministry, Mukono.
In the 4 days we are hoping to visit all our friends at the village of Kubamitwe, as well as catch up with our friends in Jinja (not sure there is going to be enough time to do all the things we want to do) but we couldnt go to Zambia which is only 4 hours away without visiting Uganda again.
We will fly back down to South Africa and meet the team before flying to Ndola where we are meeting with MMM (Mobile Missionary Maintenance) and doing investigations for infrastructure that is needed at the Samfya Bible School. We are staying there for a couple of days before busing to Samfya (think its 7 - 9 hours depending on the roads, bus and all the things that could happen on the way in Africa!!)
We will spend 3 weeks at the Bible School and each weekend will be heading out to serve and minister with the churches that have been planted by former students of the bible school.
We are thankful to God for this opportunity to return to Africa to serve in missions.
