Revelly's house in Dove Canyon where we stayed for first 2 weeks.Also the white Astro van is what Bill and Martha lent us for the first 10 days of our visit, it was great to have a vehicle to come and go in, we did really well with the navigating, except for once we missed the off ramp and ended up going around the block (about 10km square) twice before getting back on to the right road. Luckily Nathan phoned and offered us a GPS navman or navwoman, whatever you like, for our trip up north.
Laura and Betsy took us to Newport beach it was 25 degress when we left home but 18 degrees when we got to the beach!! Everyone but Laura and Sherrilyn ventured into the water. This was supposed to be the "surf and wave" beach YEAH RIGHT!!!!
We went driving through Hollywood and Beverley Hills(B Hills by mistake but it was good to see some fo the houses) then we met Hugh and Allison for dinner in Hollywood.

Didi Rees for dessert - cookies stuck together with any flavour of ice cream YUMMY!!!
Breakfast at Santa Clarita with Allison, Hugh, Amanda, Ben, Steve, Michelle before hitting Magic Mountain - eggs in my stomach didnt settle long enough before the rides, so I did 3 rides before settling for the sidelines!!!
Ryan and Tayler, we did dinner at T.G.I Fridays at Dove Canyon. Great to finally meet Tayler that we had heard so much about.It was certainly like meeting up with family after not seeing them since June/July in Uganda. Imagin what it will be like seeing our family and friends in NZ after 12 months when we arrive home. Not long to go now.
