Flight left at 4.25pm and no last minute hiccups with visa's so thankfully after checking-in online we were able to get on the plane reasonably quickly and arrived at Dubai 12.30am into the new Duabi Termiinal 3. WOW Bling city!!!
What a change in pace, people, cars, roads and just about everything
We had a good time, said goodbye to Daniel as we chilled and laxed out for the 4 days, while he did the sightseeing and rubgy 7's. We didnt do the rugby as it was too expensive for 5 of us. Weather was warm, not hot, different temperature all together from Uganda, missing our friends, feels like we are just on holiday, guess the reality will hit as we get closer to NZ and further away from Africa continent.
Lots of walking and it always took too long to decide what to eat, too many options in Dubai after Uganda, we just settled for the chapati type kebabs from the side of the road most of the time.
