New friends from Jinja

At the wedding we met a young family from Jinja which is around one hours drive from our place. Angel and Arnold their children were well behaved and sitting and talking with us at the same table. I got talking to their mother Margaret and she had a 3 month old baby Annabelle, so we had lots to talk about, she was one of the only Ugandans sitting around us that spoke English. Margaret and her husband Ernest had invited us to their church the following weekend and lunch.
Next weekend we left at 8am and headed for their church one hour away. We forgot the directions but Daniel said its ok, Ive been there before, 9.30am and we still hadnt arrived for the start of the 9am service!!! Finally we phoned Christopher for directions and we finally arrived at the church we had already driven past 4 times that morning.
Margaret and family were so excited to see us and invited us back for lunch. Margaret went and got 8 muffins and 8 cold fizzy drinks for us and then they were going to sit and watch us eat as they didnt have any more food. Lucky we had brought buns, chippies, coke and cakes for the family!!! so we all got to eat together.
Great family, so friendly and welcoming. We are hoping to get back to visit their church in Jinja before leaving Uganda on the 25th November.
