New Kitchen Upgrade

Always plenty of Onlookers Delivery of the Table Will it Fit!!!

On the way to the village I persuaded Deane to purchase a window for the kitchen (it wasn’t really hard to get him to agree as last week he was there he had had to go into the kitchen two or three times to get things and it was so dark, he soon realised a window would make a huge difference.) Just out of Mataugga we stopped on the side of the road and got a window, just wooden frame with security bars and wooden shutters on the outside. While we were there, these kids in the photo, came from everywhere to see and talk with the boys – they love to try their English “how are you” “I am fine” and “Hi or Bye” seem to be the most popular phrases, which they tend to use anytime in a conversation, whether in context or not!!!! Anyway I saw a table at the same place and it was only Ush 5,000 (NZ$4) so Deane bought one – it had to be delivered on the bike from a house down the road. Nothing happens fast, so an hour later all tied to the roof rack and we headed to the village.

Zach Sam and Alex put the window in and it made a great difference, we used the table for the first week outside then on the way back next time purchased 2 more tables for inside the kitchen. Just so that all the food, pots pans and stuff is not on the floor.
