Our 17th wedding anniversary – where have the years gone. We were home for the weekend so went to church and caught up with everyone and got heaps of cards from everyone here which was really nice, then after lunch Deane and I headed to Kampala without the kids. It was an enjoyable afternoon, I took Deane to a new coffee shop I had found – Cafe Pap – the only place in Kampala I have found where they make proper Cappuccino, maybe even better than NZ!!! The first proper cappuccino I have had since I left NZ!!!So we chatted, relaxed and even got a little bit of shopping done, then headed to Kyoto Restaurant, a Japanese restaurant in Kampala and enjoyed a nice quiet meal then headed home. Not the best being on the roads here after dark, you never know what you may come across and its really best not to get out of the vehicle for any reason, not even if you run someone over, apparently you head for the nearest police station!!! Don’t think I’ll attempt driving at night by myself!
