Relaxing at Haifa Beach

We had a couple of days enjoying relaxing at the beach, we did venture out on a long walk down the boardwalk the first day and just about overcooked ourselves going too far in the heat.
We had a swim then kebab for dinner, which unfortunately made Deane feel a bit "off", so we decided to take it easy the next day and relax & swim.

Our upgraded accomodation was fabulous and a lovely end to 6 hard weeks in Israel, both in the Negev and travelling around as tourists.

We found Israel accomodation & food extremely expensive but public transport prices were amazing, no wonder the buses, light rail and trains are so well used by everyone.

It was a wonderful experience to see Israel, to walk where Jesus walked (supposedly anyway) I think the Sea of Galilee was my favourite because it was "physically" there without any buildings, shrines or mosques added to the site by different religions.  I could easily remember & imagine all the bibles stories of events and miracles performed on and around the lake.  Also the Jordan River where Jesua was baptised

We were also very fortunate to experience, hear about & see many things thru our contact with local Israeli people, that many tourists to Israel would not experience.

No doubt our Negev farming experience will be something we will never forget and hopefully a reminder not to do anything similar again in the future! 🤣😂😟
