We haven't previously visited this part of Sweden so it was nice to see a change of scenery, some beaches, the archipelago and the change in temperature was very noticeable. No more chilly wind off the Baltic Sea .... hopefully the chance to get rid of the flu that's been hanging around for way too long now!!!
We were met at the train station by Magdalena from the small farmlet and air BnB workaway where we are staying for 10 days.
Magdalena's husband Andy (from Scotland) had dinner ready for us and it was great to chat and compare many similarities in NZ & Scotland and differences of life in Sweden. 🙂
Our first workaway starts tomorrow ..... looks like a job for Grainger Property Maintenance. 😉
