It was a little sad to leave Sicily. We spent some time saying goodbye to friends & refugees we had met in Palermo. Thankfully we were able to vacate our apartment early without any additional expense! We are also pleased that our motorbike has been sold.
We spent a month in Sweden with Sam, Bella, Kaela & Loui on the way home. Deane was able to finish off some painting & projects around the property. Although Sherilyn got sick wth the flu (probably going from 35+ degrees to 15 degrees in 10 days didn't help) she was able to have plenty of time with the grandkids!!
We got to enjoy 10 days with Zach & Rose in Melbourne before arriving back to Bri & Ross in Auckland earlier this week .
We are so grateful to everyone that has supported us since we first embarked on our Sicily mission journey back in 2018.
We have been overwhelmed with the encouragement, prayers & the financial genenoristy from many of you over this time.
We are totally trusting the Lord as we settle into life in Auckland. We are sharing an apartment in Grafton with a good friend, who has generously offered us to stay as long as we like!!
Deane is busy hunting for a car and currently working on the new business card - Grainger Property Maintenance. Sherilyn will help with some marketing of and look to start a job in the New year.
We look forward to catching up with family and friends very soon!
