Hi from Stanmore Bay, Whangaporoa, Hibiscus Coast!
We were able to move in Lockdown L3 as we really didnt need any assistance, however it took two carloads to move our "stuff" and we were surprised how much we had accumulated over the past 6 months.
Enjoying the tranquility & peaceful setting with the views of the sea, the trees and birds singing! Located on the edge of a cliff on a no exit road, so traffic is limited!
Deane is loving hearing the tui's in the trees, the waves of the sea and the rain on the verandah .... couldnt be more of a stark contrast from the apartment in Auckland City!!
Deane has returned to working outdoors on the property development which is now 10 minutes down the road which saves at least 1.5 hours travel each day.

The Nigerian Mafia - the Black Axe is located 2 blocks from our apartment in Ballaro!
Got to enjoy our first "outdoor L3 #1 picnic" on the beach, 5 mins walk from our home and we were the only ones on the beach .... social distancing of course LOL!!! Now at week #9 and doesnt seem like the end is in sight yet!
Before we left Auckland City we were shocked how many businesses were closing down - every day there was another sign or an empty building showing the devastating affect Lockdown is having on people & their businesses.
