We arrived today to find a truck had unloaded 70 eucalyptus poles for the roof trusses as they are stronger than rough sawn timber lengths! they then had to debark each pole
UNFORTUNATELY they unloaded it on top of our recently planted grass #%=#*# !!!!!!
boy that was a disappointing and frustrating start to the day!!!
After all poles were debarked Deane got out there, rounded everyone up and stacked the poles strategically around the house so it was easier lifting for the roofers when they arrive
Then out came the rake and Deane raked up all the bark into piles to the side of the grass, ready for a big fire burnoff tomorow!
So after that Simon and Deane replaced some of the grass that had been trampled and the site was cleared, looking good again!
