After giving both Alex & Simon their own copy of the Farming God's Way vegetable guide, they had a quick read through the first couple of chapters as they were having a break from the sun
First thing was to erect a compost bin which was done easily with a little bit of help from Deane
the vegetation that had been slashed was loaded on the bicycle and delivered by Alex & Deane for Simon to spread and layer, then stomp down.
Great effort by all and great progress made in this first step ( it will take a bit to decompose so the first garden bed wont have the compost as we need to get some of vegetable seeds in the ground ASAP so there will be food on the table in a few months, the first lot of compost will be ready for the 2nd planting of vege seeds, which were generously donated before we left NZ)
