We were up early, having toast (cooked on a grate over the charcoal fire) & coffee, ready to head to the 3 acres of land in Mpigi with the Surveyor and builder when Alex got a phone call saying the entire 7acre block had been sold !!!!
Just when we thought we were SO close and could start clearing land and planting,
Alex and Simon were distraught, they had spent 2 months meeting, talking and researching this block of land
so what next........
land brokers were phoned and more options were given, in the van we got and drove to look at more options
we got a phone call to say the land was back on the market, Alex tried to phone the land owner but he refused to answer the call, so we went to his place of business - a sofa shop -
turns out.....
the land owners are from an opposing religion and found out that Alex & Simon are born again Christians so wouldn't sell to them, fearing Alex & Simon would build a church on the land !!!!
