Ken, the Kenyan Co-ordinator for the Romans Project met us at the airport, collected all our luggage and we headed around the outskirts of Nairobi city towards his place, he wanted to show us where he lived and to meet his two children - David and Betty-Ann - Ken's wife passed away last year.
Ken is a joyful man that loves The Lord and you can see and hear it in everything he does and says. We had lots of laughs as he drove us around, got us food and water.
Ken works as a lecturer of Entrepreneur and New Testament Survey at the African International University and works as a Pastor.
Ken organised for us to stay on the university campus and dinner was also provided. What a blessing this man was to us, wonderful considering how we only got his name and phone number given to us as we arrived in Uganda.
We were also able to purchase the bibles for Stanley's family at the bookshop on the University campus, boy did that save us heaps of hassles finding Swahili bibles and there was exactly the right number of bibles we needed.
