Well it was a jolly long ride - 16 hours in total, with all stops and breaks along the way . We saw lots of different landscapes, farming, agriciulture and horticulture but then it was also made longer by the snow, we had to stop (took 3/4 hour to put the chains on the tyres of the van to stop sliding in the snow and ice)
It snowed for the last 2 hours of the trip. Wew left at 8.30am and finally arrived at 12.30am the next day.
You think we would all be exhausted and just head straight for bed NOT, we sat up talking till 5.00am!!! but it was great just to chat and catch up, hence we had a bit of a sleep in the next day.
