Irene & Christophers Introduction

Irene introduced Christopher to her family on the 31st August 2008. We all had to get dressed in traditional Ugandan clothing, Bri and I in Gomeze's and the guys in (not sure of the ugandan name BUT they called them "shirt dresses")

It was a very long day, we thought it was lunch, they forgot to tell us otherwise and we arrived with the cakes at 1pm ready for lunch.

Christopher was 2 hours late and then the introduction went for 4 hours, so it was a long and very hot day, also it poured with rain at one stage, then we finally got dinner at 8pm so we were rather tired by the end of the day.

Christophers family come and bring gifts to Irenes family and then they present themselves to each other and it is a very traditional celebration.
