Danielle Hurley’s 30th birthday, a few of us got together and put on a surprise birthday party for Danielle last night, it went very well and it was a great opportunity to celebrate both Danielle’s birthday and Irene’s 26th birthday with a yummy dinner and two special birthday cakes.
Deane has headed off to Kampala South today to purchase and pay for the steel for the fencing. He then has to follow the transporter from Kampala to Mukono to ensure that all the steel he has bought arrives safely at the steel fabricators. It will probably be a week or so before the fabricator has finished and the fencing is ready to be transported out to Luwero.
We are doing well, schooling is going good, apart from not being able to receive any of the science equipment boxes because it can’t be airmailed because of the objects and chemicals that are included in it. We have got a list and are hoping to be able to get some things locally, but if not, then we will just have to skip some of the lessons. They suggested shipping it but when it takes 4-6 weeks for a letter to arrive airmail, I can’t imagine how long it will take to ship it out
